Which makes it a tie and we don't even have protocol for that.

Charles Barkley said 'reject'... but that was before it went to a league-wide vote and, just like Josh's accept, it doesn't count because they're not on the Trade Committee and posted before it went league-wide.

On balance I feel like this should be accepted, but because Charles's sentiment was 'reject' I feel like that should be counted as a vote. It's hard to know how I'd approach this if it was not my own trade.

On the other hand, as Alex said:

This is the closest a trade has ever been to the line between accept and reject, and all the fuss is over four players that don't matter at all. Weird.

Me and JR will just reformulate and re-post another deal.

Jesus I don't know really. It does seem stupid not to let this trade pass. It's such an infinitesimally close call either way, and I'm counting a reject from Charles that wasn't even a reject to tip the balance.

I'm going to play with fire and move to accepted so I can get some sleep. It's nearly midnight, I'm shattered and I've got a job interview I need to prepare for. If people want to ragequit over this they're welcome to do it.

But we do! I checked the rules a little while ago because this vote was close. Here is the full rule:

There are five Trade Committee members. If a trade involving a Trade Committee member's team is deadlocked at 2 accepts/2 rejects then all GMs in the league are given 24 hours to provide their unbiased opinion on the trade. If GM votes continue to remain deadlocked then the trade will pass.
