Come on guys this isn't rocket science there's a whole thread in the rules section: "Players injured during the Playoffs will also have the severity of their injuries checked and if the recovery time of a player's injury would usually require them to miss 6 weeks of play they will be added to the injury list." Nah, if he didn't want to lose Korver he should have supported injuries during the RL playoffs not counting. Because no one seemed to care players are going to start falling off. We have no idea how severe the injury could have been because the Hawks are going to get swept. Are you just talking nonsense? Sprained ankles aren't 6+ week injuries, and the rule Ian wrote is right there for you to read. Here is a link to the thread you are either unaware of or don't care about its existence: dynasty5ive.proboards.com/thread/5866/player-injuries

Plus they said he might need surgery. Thats definitely more than a 6 week time period.

"After there are six weeks left at the end of the regular season injuries listed as "Out for Season" will be checked for their severity, and if in doubt ignored, because "Out for season" will not necessarily mean an injury is severe enough to warrant being added to the injury list at this time." "When a player's real-life team is eliminated from competition and they opt for an end of season surgery they will not be added to the injury list at D5 unless, when the next season rolls around, they are still injured from the surgery." At best he is getting surgery for the sprained ankle because he wouldn't be back this season because it's a 2 week season at most, and at worst it is "in doubt". Kyle Korver should not be on the injury list.

The report on ESPN is Korver is out for the playoffs and may require surgery to his ankle. This seems to me to be pretty easy, he goes on IR.
This is nearly the same situation Kevin Love was in. A 3-4 week injury timetable without surgery, and a 3-4 month timetable with surgery. Had Love opted in to having surgery, because he wants to insure his future, he'd probably be back by now.

"May require surgery on ankle" do I need to copy and paste it again? Scroll up dude, Kevin love didn't go on IR until it came out that he would be out of basketball activities for 3-4 months you literally argued it down to the minute the news came out. I know you can read the rules. "If there is uncertainty nothing will happen". It's right there. Right above you. Kyle Korver stays off IR until he gets surgery and if the surgery is only happening because the season is over and not because it's requires then he should not be placed on IR. like holy crap just follow the letter of the law.

And the difference is Kyle korvers team would've been eliminated before his ankle healed in its own. Kevin loves team wouldn't. He had surgery because it was a bad enough injury he needed to to secure his own future. Kyle Korver is having surgery because his teams season is over. That makes a difference. It's why it's in the rules. Come on stop sucking each other's dicks. It's clearly a different scenario and both scenarios are laid out in the rules. Unless more information comes out that he needs the surgery instead of opting for it because the NBA season would be well over before he could come back he shouldn't be on IR.

Revisiting the rules regarding Korver's injury: "Players injured during the Playoffs will have the severity of their injuries checked and if the recovery time of a player's injury would usually require them to miss 6 weeks of play they will be added to the injury list." Korver suffered a "severe high right ankle sprain". Raymond Felton: 6 weeks *NFL's Russell Okung: 2 months (8 weeks) *For this reason I judge that Korver will be added to the injury list. Just an FYI, if you are getting anything other than Breast implants then you need the surgery. Just because you put surgery off doesn't mean you don't need it.

Kyrie Irving alert! It doesn't look like he will be available for next game in real life.

Fate has conspired against the Nuggets Kyrie Irving added to the injury list. Sorry Alex English.
