Sweet. So unless he moves up then Josh's 4 guard lineup cost him 2 spots in the draft. What really derailed the tanking was the acquisition of Lance Stephenson, whom I think is a very sound investment for moving down in the draft. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and get rewarded for not tanking to close out the season. |

You knew it was my intention to acquire 2 big name guys to go with my young talent. How was I to predict Derrick Rose would be available for trade? Acquiring Rose in a trade was a lot easier than lobbying for some, likely second rate, free agent and over paying for their talents. It's not my fault you didn't hire Nick Gilbert like I did. |

When the lottery ends the draft can begin, but picks will not be timed until after the real-life June 26th draft - GMs do not have to make their pick until the actual draft starts.
