Not sure if Ian is sending smokescreens, or if Charles is. Or maybe both?

Noah Vonleh may very well be the least risky pick out of the top 5.

I have one question guys. I'm not sure if you have this info somewhere, but I would like to know...
Where are you taking the first ratings for these rookies in the draft Ian?
Also, should we start a stock watch for these players somewhere or will their first ratings be set until next season sometime?
Its just something I was thinking. I know you use roster patches. But if you have these ratings.. Can we vote on their ratings before the season?
Thanks Ian ...as ALWAYS!!

We wont start the 2014/15 season until at least November - we have another D5* season to transition to after this off season - so we wont need ratings until then.
If a NBA-Live.com update is released we'll use them, if not we can use NBA 2k ratings and then deliberate on things ourselves once the season actually starts.

Can we make it a point to lower some of the guys who will undoubtedly be stupidly overrated. I wouldn't be surprised to so 2K give Wiggins an 85.

I also have a very advanced algorithm I am using. I use VBD when drafting Fantasy Football and Baseball guys, I've implemented that into my rookie rating as well as weighing alpha and beta on each prospect. Yes I have 2 top 5 picks, but I am rating around 100 guys or so. I plan to do a lot of movement over the time period of the draft, or at least try to. There are about 15 guys I really like, it will decrease depending on who they are drafted by, i.e. the Porter situation with Ariza being there from last year. But all in all, I have put in about 10 hours of excel time and film time so far.

Not sure if Ian is sending smokescreens, or if Charles is. Or maybe both? Nah, by all accounts, I think that when LeBron declines, Durant takes the throne, and I think the next in line is Wiggins. I am willing to move both my top 5 picks up to get him. I'm just praying that I don't have to. I also have Oladipo and Giannis as trade bait. Like I said on the podcast, I really don't care if other GMs know who I like, that way if a guy is there a like for another GM, they can hit me up and work out a trade.

What about the brow?

What about the brow? Anthony Davis? I was talking wing players. Davis is already pretty much king of the post game. The Pelicans will be a force to be dealt with if everyone develops, however they could end up like the T'Wolves with one really great player than can't lead his team to the playoffs.
