The Houston media outlets are now reporting that the Houston Rockets have employed expert lottery winner, Nick Gilbert.
Yes, that Nick Gilbert. The son of the Cavaliers owner and general manager. The same Nick Gilbert that famously said, "Why not us?"
The estranged son commented on the matter by saying, "My dad, he cut me off. No more free casino chips, no more weekly unlimited allowance. He said, 'You need to learn how to be a man,' and apparently that meant I had to learn how to cook pretzels at the Auntie Anne's in the mall where my dad has the casino he owns. No, he couldn't just give me a job, let me be a black jack dealer. Instead, I'm sitting in the mall folding pretzel dough.
"So, Chuck called me up and asked if I'd like to attend the lottery with him and Derrick. So I said, 'Sure'. I mean, forty thousand dollars is forty thousand dollars. And he said if the Rockets win the lottery, I'll get a bonus of sixty thousand dollars. My dad wanted me to be my own man, and this is it."
Rockets General Manager will be attending the lottery, along with the newly acquired star point guard Derrick Rose. And right there along with them, in his patented bow-tie, will be Nick Gilbert, the lucky charm. Here is to hoping it all goes as planned.

There will be two good teams that miss the playoffs in the west next year if you win the lottery.
