Well, Draymond had as many as 10 offers at one point in time. It took some time to narrow everything down, but we are very happy with our final destination.
Toronto offers a unique blend of talent and we feel Draymond will fit in very well there.
Advantage #1 is the Eastern Conference. Draymond isn't ring-chasing or anything but who doesn't want to win?
Advantage #2 is a clear starting spot. Most teams had this for a player of his caliber of course. Still, one or two teams almost had "too much" talent at the positions Draymond plays, and Toronto has a gaping hole at PF that Mr. Green will slide into effortlessly.
Advantage #3 is a nice balanced roster. Joining Roy Hibbert in the frontcourt, this team is going to be pretty damn tough to score on. Kyle Lowry is also a nice defensive guard. DeMar can focus even more on his scoring and Korver can continue to help stretch the floor.
Advantage #4 is that this team is locked up long term for the most part. A team like the Lakers has nearly nothing on the roster after this coming season, at least compared to having Hibbert / DeRozan / Lowry / Ennis / Olynyk / KCP all on long-term deals that net the Raptors BR's.
Advantage #5 is a good GM with a plan. Once again, I wouldn't say Bryan Colangelo is unique on this advantage but his team is locked up long-term, in a good conference, and he'll likely have about 20 million next season to maybe pursue a different SF (or PF, sliding Draymond over to SF which would be fine with Mr. Green).
Overall, it was a combination of all of these factors and even more that made the Toronto Raptors the choice for Draymond Green.
Year 1: $15,000,000 Year 2: $16,650,000 Year 3: $18,481,500 Year 4: $20,514,465 Year 5: $22,771,056 (PO)
Total Salary: $93,417,021

He strongly considered the Lakers, Hornets, Magic, Nets (they withdrew their offer once they signed Monroe though), and Rockets (returning team but didn't have cap in the end to make it happen) at various times in this process.

Good pick up. Solid team. His role here is pretty much the same as on the RL GSW.

Unreal! Glad to have green aboard and finally I don’t have to look for a PF. After losing out on Millsap, Horford and Love, Green is a great pick up for my team and it didn’t cost me anything but money. Lowry (86) – DeRozan (84) – Korver (78) – Green (81) – Hibbert (79)
