Well.
In the player comparison I listed earlier, one player was Whiteside, the other player was Dwight Howard aka Superman.
Here is another player comparison.
Player A 10.1p 8.9r 2.4b 28per Player Rating = ?? (80)
Player B 10.7p 11.8r 1.3b 21.05per Player Rating = 82
Player C 11p 13.9r 2.3b 21.06per Player Rating = 83
Player D 11p 7.1r 1.8b 15.67per Player Rating = 79
The 90 may have been overshooting.
However, I do believe he should be at least an 80.

argument at hand is very simple. does playing like a 85 mean you should be rated as such? how much do you guys have to see before you say enough is enough?
maybe i havent been here long enough to really know the answer to that question. its just hard having situations with opinions that range from one end of the extreme to the other.
im going to change my vote to a 77 with room for improvement for evaluation at a later time down the road.

You could expand that to the last 30 and itd look about the same... He's only played 27 games this year... The same argument that keeps coming up here is going to be a valid argument until the middle of next season. Which is that he just hasn't played at this level long enough to deserve an above average rating. |

MKG since all-star break: 14 ppg 9.3 rpg 55.% fg i really only included post all star so it could be a reference point, because i doubt he drops below that for the rest of the season. it will be those stats that sohuld decide his offseason rating, not his pre-allstar because he played single digit minutes his few 20 games or so skewing his season averages. I personally don't relaly care if he gets rerated before the offseason or not, just keeping it updated, because this is going to be the most dynamic rating change of the season, whenever it happens. It's just a cool storyline to follow, i don't really care when walt decides to actually change it in game, i don't own any of my picks. ill just post his post all star averages in here after the season is over and see what they look like, with bosh going down he's been doing even better than these numbers show, actually. but injuries always lead to increased production. |
