Just another way to look at it, but if Lance signs with the Jazz, he has essentially signed him to a contract extension, something we don't allow/don't have in this league. I know it's not strictly an extension, but I think this move in a lot of ways decreases Utah's chances of signing Stephenson.
If Stephenson isn't bothered by it, then he must be looking at it like an extension, which isn't allowed.
If he is bothered by it, he goes somewhere else.

You dont have to forgive. Now you feel like i did. Maybe the ratings did need updated. But not now. Not half way into the season. With my team on the verge of getting into the playoffs. We would have. They might not have been young but we were winning. We had won 10 of 15 and ive put just as much work in my team as you. You ruined that. My valuable time. My desire to make the playoffs. You made a list of my roster to be reviewed for decrease. Yes purposely.. I see that as cheating.. My words may hurt but you did more than that. You ruined my season... |

Should the rating decreases been done mid season? Probably not. But we needed an ample sample size from this years season and we can't delay the season to wait and see.
I mean, if you didn't realize that Mike Miller isn't an 80. Or that Bynum isn't an 80 or Derrick Williams isn't an 81. I think that is your problem. You're looking at the number next to their name rather than what they actually should be. I mean, Derrick Williams gets 8 points and 4 boards a game; those aren't stats of a player who should be an 81 overall.

I'm loving all this anti-Jazz propaganda being used to lure Lance away from me. This may very well be the start of the UTAH BAD BOYS era Led by Lance and Waiters  If Lance and Dion are your back court of the future, they should just street fight the opposing team before they get to the arena, they'd definitely beat down any guard combo. Just need Z-Bo to beat a dude up about a dice game. |

I choose players because i like them and their game and because i believe in their game. This all comes back to 3 seasons ago and the direction i had to take. Im sure ive signed or traded for some older players, but i like those players and how they play the game. And some players play better in the game for some season. No matter their rating. I did take that into consideration. You have no idea what your talking about. And like i said maybe the ratings did need changed all over the league..but i also stated the truth, when i tell Walt i feel cheated. At least that is how i feel..no matter how anyone else nay see it. And im sure some gms agree. |

Lance has the highest knucklehead rating in the league, at least a 98. Y'all are welcome to him - I wouldn't take him if he was free. I'd rather have Dion Waiters and Javale McGee...

He didnt go after my team in some regards. And i understand why. But just because we win against you twice in a row and we win 10 to 15 games out of 20-25 doesnt mean he had to go after my player ratings like that. Come playoff time players like those that were on my team help playoff teams win. Ex: Mike Miller, Mike Duleavy. But thats over and my team cant get into the playoffs now. Oh well. Just wanted to get into the fun of the post season...where anything can happen...' |
