Greetings to everyone.
Some GMs here may know me as Stuff the Magic Dragon in D720. I was also in NBAXeries for a couple of months before storming out. As most of the GMs there, I am also from Manila.
I have been following the NBA since 2004 and has been a Kobe fan since (I know, the Pistons beat the shit out of them that year). I also started rooting for the Spurs thanks to Manu doing what he does.
If I am to manage the Oklahoma City Thunder, I will definitely hit the reset button as this team does not look good right now or the future. A total revamp is what this team needs. A gradual rebuild and a little more suffering.
Derrick White does not deserve to be stuck in this hellhole as he fit better in a contending team. Jonathan Isaac may be completely healed but I am not giving him this team until he gets fully vaxxed.
I appreciate the opportunity to apply and I will treat this franchise better than it is now. The Process starts with me.

CWebb here
I've been a assistant for the Kings for going on 2 years while learning from my dad Amare as well as getting to know some of you guys on discord.
I'm glad to be in the league and I want to make a difference and I think I can do that by finally GMing my own team.
The Thunder are a obvious rebuild and for me that means patience and picking up assets to make a great move or two when the opportunity is there.
I hope you guys will have me as a GM and again glad to be here with everyone

I was Steve Jobs, the OKC GM in D720. I’ll manage the shit out of this team.

He had a nasty team in 720. Giannis Jaylen and Beal I believe. Dude is the real deal. Demps was awesome in 720 too. Both gms were super active as well

Hello all,
My name is Corey and I feel I would be a good GM for this team because I’ll be the one to transition it from a closing window into rebuilding towards the future. I see the road ahead might be bumpy for this team but I would accept the challenge of pulling a Brooklyn Nets esque rebuild of starting with the minimum and building through smaller moves. I currently cover the Cavaliers for Fear the Sword on SB Nation and I also am a co-host on a podcast for the Cavaliers as well. I am a basketball sicko and would devote an inappropriate amount of time into this team as I take it on the necessary road to a championship.

Hey guys, was a bit busy at work earlier, just thought that first post was kinda funny but I have some time now so I'll elaborate a bit.
My name is Josh, I'm a graphic designer and enormous sports nerd that lives in Texas. I generally have cheered for players over teams in the NBA but talent + "local team" (6+ hours away lol) have me cheering for Dallas / Luka lately. Was an OKC fan when I took over OKC in D720 because of Durant and Westbrook so I still have fond memories for the team and enjoy GMing them to try to make up for RL Sam Presti's shortcomings.
As a sim league member, I'll probably never be as active as I was at my peak but I love talking hoops and tend to passionately engage in discussions, so I'd be a very fun addition to the list of members and someone that cares a lot about my contributions to the league. I've been pretty active on discord since I started using it more in 2020-2021 so I'll probably be one of the most active members there.
As for my vision for this OKC team... I'm not going to lie, I don't have much belief in any of the guys on the current roster. The current draft class is sizeable and I think all of the first rounders have some promise (nice to see that George is getting some significant play time early on a relatively guard heavy Jazz roster), and thanks to a pretty clean cap sheet we have plenty of time for them to prove me wrong.
As a GM I'm very value-minded and tend to go with the flow rather than staunchly stick to a plan. While trying to contend that mindset has led me to some very flexible year to year roster directions in the past but with a pure rebuild roster like this, I think it'll allow me to fully flex that value-conscious muscle and pursue the best trades and FA signings I can find for the long term direction of the team. In the medium term, Derrick White is a guy I've enjoyed watching on both the Spurs and the Celtics and I really believe in him so at worst he should have some strong trade value to a contender at the deadline and the rest of the guys will be shopped appropriately. Other than that, it's probably a 2-4 year path to even being competitive but I'd be in no rush so you wouldn't have to worry about me making rash decisions and setting back the roster again.

Presti, had an insanely stacked team in 720 before it shut down. He had a core of Giannis,Jaylen Brown, and Bradley Beal. He was also super active, being on the TC as well as a PA. I think he would be a strong addition to the league, as a good gm and a super active one.

FYI. Sam Presti seems to be getting a lot of hype in the Discord.
