Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Current Rating: 77 Suggested Rating: 79-80 MKG is playing very well. He isn't getting great PT in Charlotte, but he is producing with the time given to him. He averages: - 10.1 PPG
- 6.10 RPG
- 1.7 APG
- 1.1 BPG
- 0.8 SPG
In just 26.9 MPG. He shoots well and is a very good athlete. His defense is very good and he is getting numbers close to Anthony Davis ( 79*) and has played in more games and more starts, 41-40 out of CHA's 42, than him despite an eye injury. His numbers are also kind of close to Lillard's except for APG and the 3Point/FT Shooting, but he gets 12 minutes less per game. He can get to the line and shoot well when there. Ratings that I think should be boosted: Jumping: 52 Free Throw: 60 3 Point: 54 Offensive Rebounding: 59

His potential is great when looking that he's only 19 Years Old and built well, but I don't know if there's a potential rating in Live. Since ratings are manually changed there is no need for a potential rating.

MKG doesn't need a boost. He's fine at 77.

MKG doesn't need a boost. He's fine at 77. I agree with you but I also agree that Kidd-G deserves a better rating in some of the ratings Blake mentioned. I haven't checked his ratings but i bet some could go down for others to go up and stay at 77.

77 is good. Until the Bobcats win some games, no one on the roster should be above a 75

77 is good. Until the Bobcats win some games, no one on the roster should be above a 75 Really don't like this point of view, it's a cop-out in my opinion. Take a real look at the players, sometimes they just don't work together, sometimes the coach sucks, sometimes there's a locker-room cancer, sometimes they just lose a bunch of close games. Lots of different scenarios, that's just scratching the surface. If you watch games or follow stats, you can get at least a solid feel for players. Saying that b/c the team is losing means everyone on the roster sucks is pretty misleading.

Here's my take on MKG
#1 - He SHOULD have probably been a 78-79 when the original rookie ratings were input...but that didn't happen for a ton of reasons.
#2 - I'd worry less about his overall rating and more about getting the categories right, so let's take a look at those, and see where things go.
Still though, it's only a point or two off what he "should" be, and he hasn't actually impressed "that" much to give him the benefit of the doubt.
