Current Overall Rating: 72
Suggested Overall Rating: 78
Ratings That Should Increase: FG Shooting, Dunking, Offensive Awareness, Blocking, Defensive Awareness, Offensive Rebounding, Defensive Rebounding, Strength, and Stamina.
Stats: 10.8 PPG, 12.3 RPG (3.9 of those are offensive), 1.1 BPG, .7 SPG, and 47.7 FG%.
As his contract indicates, Asik's number are off the chart. Now, I understand these impressive stats are only through 15 games, but that consists of the reason why I am only asking for a 78. I think, if he keeps it up, Asik should be an 82 or an 83. However, I think 78 would be fair for right now. I also think his play with Chicago should be factored in, as we all suspected he would play better than his regular season stats showed if given starter's minutes. Asik now proved his critics wrong with his play as a starter for the Rockets.
Thus, Asik produces as much, if not more, than players around his suggested rating. Some comparable include:
79 Kenyon Martin 79 Tyrus Thomas 79 Glen Davis 78 Brandon Bass 78 Chris Andersen 78 Bismack Biyombo 78 Channing Frye 78 Taj Gibson 78 Carl Landry 77 Kris Humphries 77 Anthony Randolph 77 Jason Maxiell 77 Charlie Villanueva 77 Markieff Morris 77 Dejuan Blair 76 Marreese Speights 76 Drew Gooden 76 Derrick Favors 76 Udonis Haslem 76 Amir Johnson 76 Tristan Thompson 76 Andris Biedrins 75 Nick Collison 75 Jason Smith 75 Jason Thompson 75 Hakim Warrick

I'd be pretty comfortable with a 78-ish rating for Asik, with potential to go up (in certain areas)

Actually I think he's better than 78. I'd go 79 too.

He's a dbl dbl big. He deserves an 80. He still has room for improvement...
