George Gervin - George Hill played last night, so I won't take him out. It's not been 6 weeks for Shai yet, so no point discussing yet. Glenn Robinson - Myles Turner is out injured now

Glenn Robinson - Myles Turner is out injured now Ian Noble, seems like math is elusive as Shai last played on March 12 and he still, per the Thunder, has at least two more weeks before he will be evaluated again, let alone if he plays. Six weeks is technically tomorrow for him, so after those sims run I’ll move him to my IR.

Ian Noble should John Wall be out? He's only been out for 10 days. Even if he's out the rest of the season it's less than 6 weeks. In the tweet announcing the injury Shams said he had a "tweaked hamstring" that would shut him down and allow the Rockets to "tinker with lineups". That sounds more like what happened to Al Horford than a genuine season ending injury.

Otto Porter (NYK) - 04/03 - Foot injury, no update on return Tomorrow will be 5 weeks out and he has no timetable yet for return. So, looks like over 6 weeks for sure, and getting more likely that he will not return at all this season

Rules: After there are six weeks left at the end of the regular season injuries listed as "Out for Season" will be checked for their severity, and if in doubt ignored, because "Out for season" will not necessarily mean an injury is severe enough to warrant being added to the injury list at this time. John Wall's injury falls into this category imho. He should stay playing. Hanamichi Sakuragi - Zion is out

In your own post, you say that "out for season" will not necessarily mean an injury is severe enough to warrant being added to the injury list. Zion has a fractured finger. Those do not take long to heal, and certainly not six weeks. For some concrete evidence, this study looked at basketball injuries based on pathology, and found that 52 finger fractures resulted in 457 missed games, indicating that about 8.7 games are missed for each fractured finger. Gordon Hayward fractured his finger Dec. 14, 2020 and was playing in the season opener 11 days later www.nba.com/news/gordon-hayward-sustains-finger-fractureLarry Nance fractured his finger on February 7 and was back in early March, playing right after the All star break.
