I've shortened the turnaround on this selection process so that, whoever is next Knicks GM, they will have a few days before OSFA begins to make some big team decisions.

Hi all, I would be interested to become the next GM of Knicks. I'm a Finnish guy who have played basketball all my life. Following NBA since about 1999. Favorite player was always Tim Duncan. Go Spurs go!! I have experience in sim leagues. Some of you know me from Dynasty720 as Theodore Duncan. I would say I'm one of the more active GM's there for few years.
Plan for the Knicks: Well, they seem to be bit in no-mans land. Not good to compete or bad enough to have higher picks, and couple of quite meh contracts. I don't think there is a quick fix for the team, I think would need to be quite patient for few years. There are few decent young players in the team, but none of them is the go-to franchise guy to build around. Luckily they have their own 1st round picks, so I think building via draft will be best way. I would probably try to look up some trades to take some bad money contracts and get extra draft picks as compensation, and tank for 1-2 years to find the future star in the draft.

I would like to support Arvydas Sabonis for the Knicks GM job.I have been part of D720 for almost 2 years now where he is also a GM and he is a pretty good GM in terms of transactions and activity.I particularly like his team planning and I am pretty certain he would have won a title there had it not been for some serious injuries to Cousins and Porzingis a few seasons back.Hoping that he is a strong contender for the job and gets it too since the Knicks require a patient GM who can plan and I believe that Arvydas Sabonis can do so

With no other applicants I'd like to welcome Arvydas Sabonis to the Knicks organization and his first full-time D5 GM role!
