I think Westbrook is an easy opt-out. He won't get as much as his 42M final year, but a player with his injury history and athleticism would almost certainly want to, fresh off a championship, lock down a longer-term contract.

I think Kawhi and Kemba are the most interesting option decisions— Kemba in the bubble and right before the shutdown showed he was deteriorating physically, and as a 30+ yr old 6 ft PG he’s not gonna age well. Kawhi is a mystery with how he played in the Nuggets series and whether or not he was healthy this season for the Clips. I’d argue both should lean to opting out to lock in money now— especially with the cap now being an uncertain mess in the next at least season or two due to the COVID and China revenue issues.

I think Taj Gibson is an easy opt out. Do you see how much money Bismack Biyombo is making? Taj is severely underpaid. Sorry to see you go, Taj.
