All the scuttlebutt and rumors as we are 96 hours out from the draft: - The top 3 picks and teams are still all in flux, with various reports trickling out that any of the TWolves, Warriors, or Hornets could trade back or out entirely for the right price
- LaMelo Ball held two workouts for five teams last week in LA— GSW, Minnesota, Charlotte, Chicago, and Detroit— and he’s met with all of those teams already
- Patrick Williams is becoming a dark horse for the 4th pick if GSW trades back from #2 with Chicago according to the Ringer and the Athletic
- The TWolves are trying to leverage some combination of Josh Okogie, Jarrett Culver, and the 17th pick to trade up into the top 8 for a shot at Tyrese Halliburton
- Aaron Nesmith and Devin Vassell may slide as far as the late teens due to two different issues: medical for Nesmith with his foot, and shot form changes with Vassell. Vassell’s camp has already tried to do damage control but their reason was Devin was just “playing around” on the workout video
- Russell Westbrook through his agent listed four teams he’d want to be traded to: LAC, LAL, Milwaukee, or Atlanta
- The Hawks are the most likely to move their pick of the top 8 teams, with a host of teams (Boston, San Antonio, OKC) being connected to the pick as the draft approaches.

24 hour update: - Anthony Edwards reportedly is close to locking up the 1st pick, as the TWolves still field offers for #1 (mostly for teams looking at Wiseman) but are receiving tepid interest
- Isaac Okoro is sliding due to some players (mainly Patrick Williams, Tyrell Terry, and Saddiq Bey) rising up boards. He’s now expected to go between the 9th and 12th picks.
- Houston has traded into the 16th pick, and reportedly is looking for a “big swing” at that spot. Expect it to be someone like Hampton, Poku, or another high upside player
- OKC has three late 1sts now, but are looking— same as Boston— to consolidate and move up for an impact player in the lottery
- Jay Scrubb, a JUCO player, is the hot name who has gone from 2nd round to getting buzz in the 20s in super short order
- Lastly, Atlanta wants nothing to with the 6th pick and are practically begging someone to take it. They reportedly put it on the table for Bogdan but he refused to sign with a team that “had no real playoff chances”. It looks like they will have an uphill battle adding a worthwhile vet with that pick.
Edit: Two additional prospect items that came in this morning: - Onyeka Okongwu suffered a foot injury while training and is expected to miss part of the season. Unclear if it’s an injury that will affect him long term or just a freak injury, but may impact where he lands tonight as teams scramble for a medical report
- Xavier Tillman, per the Ringer and other outlets, was the highest profile prospect medically red flagged by teams. Not disclosed what it is, but enough teams flagged him that he may slide into the mid 2nd round.

This isn't the draft to be at the top. No clear #1 to build around. And so no trade is going to really be enticing enough to part with the #1 overall pick because no one is going to give up enough for it.
