I’m going to put an endorsement here for Tim Duncan, who is an active AGM that has helped our team a lot with strategy and input (especially last draft, where he pushed hard for Hachimura as a guy that would fit our team and do well, and thus far in his rookie season Hachimura looks like he will stick). He’s someone who has been present and contributed to stockwatches, has handled trade negotiations for us as well, and he’d be a great choice as new GM of the Jazz.

I would like to apply for the position of Utah Jazz GM.I am 17 and I live in India. My experience in sim leagues has been in D720 and D5.I have been the GM of the Los Angeles Clippers since Jan 2019 and I would say that I am a top 5 GM in D720 in terms of activity.I have been the Assistant GM to George Gervin ,helping him run the San Antonio Spurs since March 2019.While being an Assistant GM,I have been a part of draft strategy, trade ideas and negotiations and free agency planning. In my time here,I have also voted on a number of Stock Watch threads. Utah Jazz is a young team with a lot of cap space.Jayson Tatum will be around for a really long time as he is an All Star and in my opinion,he is a future superstar.I am excited to see the progess of Colin Sexton as even though his advanced stats are not good,he is a 20 ppg scorer with improving playmaking skills.Marvin Bagley III ,Zach Collins and Jarrett Culver are all young and will continue to develop. The Jazz dont have their second round picks for the next 3 drafts but they have all their first round picks which is great for a rebuilding team.I will get to add another young prospect with this year's lottery pick too. The Jazz have a lot of cap space but as they are tied for the second worst record, attracting top level free agents will be extremely tough but I would still give it a shot.If I fail to do so i would take on some bad contracts with picks and prospects involved.Unless we get a top level free agent,I would stick to signing players to one year deals to prserve our cap space for the following offseason. If the players develop well then I could contend for a playoff spot next season while having cap space to attract 2021 free agents. If the Jazz do not make the playoffs then another lottery pick would be added to our young core enabling the team to be a future powerhouse after development and some free agent signings. I think my experience as an Assistant GM here will be very valuable as I have learnt the workings of the league and picked up some skills from an amazing GM George Gervin . I hope i am strongly considered for the position of the Utah Jazz GM.

I am a dedicated and experienced GM simmer and fantasy player, having played different fantasy formats since 2000. I first experienced GM simming in 2008, and have been a regular player since the mid2010s. My favorite gameplay on NBA Live is Dynasty Mode and I could get lost for hours on Basketball GM. I have also played browser sports management games like ManagerLeague and Buzzerbeater.
I have been following the NBA since the late 1980s. As I am from the Philippines, it's easy to get information on the NBA and basketball in general. My favorite team is the Indiana Pacers.
I don't rock the boat much in terms of roster management, especially if I'm satisfied with the performance of my team and/or I am able to implement my system/philosophy regardless of what the final score says. This would be the first time I'll be taking over a team instead of starting a league from Season 1, so this presents a different challenge for me.
As for DFive, I believe some GMs here are already familiar with me and can vouch for the effort I give to my team and to the league as a whole.
That would be all; hoping I get accepted and become part of the family as GM of the Jazz.

So will voting work the same as the Magic and Rockets ones (minus public visibility until the polls close), or different process?

Congratulations Tim Duncan! Welcome to the Utah Jazz organisation! May your reign be long and prosperous You've got Jayson Tatum, Collin Sexton, Marvin Bagley and all your 1st Round Picks, your predecessor Elton Brand did a pretty good job! Try and make use of your team section and get prepared for the upcoming off season! You'll have a high lottery pick to decide on and lots of cap space!

Reggie Miller - as Walt Frazier said in the Shoutbox: don't lose heart on this! You're in prime position to take the next team that becomes available. Maybe put a shout out to take an Assistant GM job in the meantime to help your chances even more, also it always helps to decide on a name that's not taken yet - just message me with your choice.
