Again, just reiterating from my last trade, I don’t see my team as a legitimate free agency destination this upcoming offseason, so I’m just delaying that process. In the meantime, I get 2 solid players that can hopefully net me a few more wins this year considering I traded my pick.
I accept.

love this for the clips. Rockets are going all in to try to keep Giannis. Will it pan out?

I accept...basically turns Batum and Len into Favors with the same length contract but a much better player imo. Favors instantly turns into a top 2 player for us alongside RJ Barrett.
Flipping around a couple of contracts also netted me 2 2nd round picks.
Big props to Tom Izzo for being a huge part of putting this monster deal together!

Also, I am aware I will need to pick up a couple of free agents to keep my roster at the minimum number of players. Offers are already in with the player agents at this point.

With the completion of these two trades, I've gone from:
PG - Mike Conley SG - Kemba Walker SF - Giannis Antetokounmpo PF - Kevin Love C - Jared Sullinger 6. Elie Okobo 7. Patrick McCaw 8. Damien Inglis
To
PG - Kemba Walker SG - CJ McCollum SF - Giannis Antetokounmpo PF - Ersan Illyasova C - Steven Adams 6. Alex Len 7. Ben McLemore 8. Denzel Valentine 9. Jose Calderon 10. Jared Sullinger
We're starting to stabilize, but I can't say I'm done yet. I think starting with next to nothing, I've been able to turn this franchise around in a month. I believe we are a Finals contender in the Western conference and our goal this year is to make the Finals. Very excited to see what's next.
Kemba Walker and Giannis are the cornerstones of this franchise and I intend to make them Rockets for life.

Well yeah, I had to send away 2 1sts and 3 2nds to get the deals done. Which sucks, but I'm okay with. I think draft picks are good assets but overrated. The chances of you actually selecting a quality player are fairly low. And people here definitely just wanted me to trade away Giannis and give my few quality players away for nothing. So I think all things considered, we're in a pretty good spot and continually getting better.
So in total:
Mike Conley Kevin Love HOU 2020 1st HOU 2023 1st HOU 2021 2nd HOU 2022 2nd HOU 2023 2nd
For
CJ McCollum Steven Adams Ersan Illyasova Alex Len Denzel Valentine Jose Calderon Tony Bradley

Accept. Truly believe that true centers will be obsolete next year and Adams will be one of them, averaging less mins this year.
That 2023 will be huge IF Giannis walks away from Hou.
I can now sign almost 2 max contracts with this trade. Will be banking on my picks, Jru and Miami beach to pick up some free agents this offseason.

I love this for Miami a lot.Adams is great but how valuable are non shooting centres in the league right now unless they defend like Gobert.Honestly i think people would rather have a star guard or a wing rather than pay 25-30 mil to someone like Adams.Miami frees up another max slot for FA this season which picking up a HOU 2023 1st and a 2nd which is great for them in my opinion. The only bad thing for Miami is that maybe the drop in talent level may not interest the major FAs but i have not seen the D5 FA process for long enough to comment on that.

Lol, there are diminishing returns on "max slots" after a certain point. So far it looks like: Sabonis Adams Harrison Barnes Kanter Beverly Ish Smith 1st round Pick Miami 2023 2nd round pick 2022 MIA 2nd round pick 2023 MIA 2021 2nd Round Pick from San Antonio Spurs via MIA 2022 2nd Round Pick from Los Angeles Clippers via MIA For: 73 Jalen Brunson $1,408,200 $1,645,500 $2,968,482 $4,402,259 1st round pick DET 2020 They've freed up a lot of salary by ditching some bad contracts but at what cost? Jrue/Huerter/Caruso/Brunson is a nice little guard core, but there's absolutely no one for the SF, PF, or C positions. IRL this may be a pretty nice move, but in D5 having a solid foundation in place is heavily emphasized, especially because fellow GMs (PAs) aren't just going to hand you 2-3 major FAs. I don't see this paying off in the off-season, unfortunately. That being said, it's a nice soft rebuild, and as long as MIA isn't too trigger happy this upcoming off-season, he can aim to sign some big-fish in 2021 or 2022.

LOVE this for LAC. Can't imagine a much better return for those guys.
But then I look at Detroit and I think they probably couldn't do any better than that, considering they want production and to be decent since they don't have their pick.
Houston upgrades their Center position, however I think this might be a little steep of a price to pay considering Adams' extra year on his contract and the 1st they give up. That said, he does secure Adams' bird rights (if he keeps him) so there's some recouped value there, potentially.
Miami continues what he's been doing for the last week or two and just tears down, while getting pick value.
Overall, everything looks surprisingly balanced and even good for every team in most ways. I'm impressed, good job all.
Accept.

Yeah I don't think this will go well for Miami. New Orleans and Detroit must be thrilled with what's going on given that they own future picks.

They switched him and Mozgov By my understanding this trade was never re-worked and re-posted so it remained rejected? It was originally Noah’s contract. It was reworked with Mozgov’s. Noah should’ve been on my books, which I now traded to LAC
