Accept. Will be getting a Lottery pick (hopefully a top 3 pick) which i believe will be better than Sabonis someday while trading away Kanter's contract
Jalen Brunson for a 1st rounder is a good deal also, he is killing it right now IRL.
with this trade, i will open up a max contract this offseason with Adams, Jrue and Huerter as part of my core.

Pretty intriguing deal for Detroit to add Sabonis to Ayton and White, though it is a perplexing frontcourt fit. Keeping the LAC 2020 1st two to add to that trio is a great stroke as well.
For Miami, getting of the toxic, bottom five in the league contract Kanter has is worth it— and getting what is likely a top 5 pick and young promising PG too makes sense.

I accept.
I’m excited to bring in Sabonis to pair with Ayton. I agree with George that it is a questionable fit, but he’s established himself as an all-star this year and that’s hard to pass up. Contrary to what Shaq said, I think it’s unlikely that I’ll/he’ll draft a player that ends up better than Sabonis.
It’s hard giving up Jalen Brunson, but I think his max potential is him being a solid role player, especially playing behind Doncic. I didn’t see him as a core piece in my rebuild moving forward.
Also, I don’t see my team as a major player in free agency for the next few years, so giving up expiring contracts to secure Sabonis as a Piston is something I’m willing to do.
That 2023 1st rounder is also a nice addition. An insurance policy. Overall, I like the direction this trade takes my team.

Detroit looking kinda spooky next year if they get a top lottery pick this year to pair with Sabonis and Ayton...
I accept.

Trade reversed due to hard cap rule. They edited it to go under the hard cap. This should be clear now.
