Clippers Accept.
This would have been Carmelo's 9th season with the Clippers and based on his resurgence he would have been a key player for us this year. The reality is though that we are in the middle of a major rebuild and this not only saves us some salary next season but it also should be easier to deal Batum or Len as expiring contracts next year as well. Has to be easier to deal a $10M and $18M contract then a single $35M one.
