Spurs accept— not going to lose sleep over a 2023 2nd round pick assuming projected growth from our core, and I like the idea of taking a one year flier on CJ Miles who is a solid SF. This deal also doesn’t inhibit our $96 MM in expirings for next summer, which is an added bonus.

Pacers Accept. This trade helps me 1) reduce the number of players on our roster. I want to be able to bring my rookies to the actual roster, instead of just draft rights. 2) It allows me to reduce my teams salary.
I do have to give up some 2nd round picks. I like those 2nd rounders. I try to find good value in the 2nd round.
