Atlanta Trades:
(80) Bogdan Bogdanovic: $952,400 - $993,400 - $1,793,087 - $2,689,631 (72) Mikal Bridges: $2,681,900 - $3,183,300 - $3,719,700 - $4,738,898 - $6,421,207 #4 2020 1st
Total Salary: $3,634,300
I accept. I really didn't want to move Markannen as I think he will be a stud, but I just don't see how he will get any playing time for me with Anthony Davis at the 4 for the foreseeable future. This way I can get a different prospect at a new position at #4 and Jay Z gets another rising star building block in Lauri to pair with Fox and Ball.

I accept. Once i got that 4th overall pick i was dead set on pairing Fox with his long term running mate, and my opinion on Markannen mirrors Glenn's, kids a stud. The price to make a move like this is steep, but im really confident in a Fox/Markannen pairing, the cupboard still holds some assets for future moves, and we're still in a good position to throw our weight around in FA if the right players show up.

Great move by the champs! End up with the 4th pick on top of some good depth pieces plus a future first. I don’t hate it for Atlanta either, sometimes you gotta pay up to get your guy, and lauri has awesome potential

I think this is a great trade for both teams.

Damn. Kind of think that 2020 1st is too much, as I really like the other pieces Milwaukee is already getting here.
I'm not sure I would have rejected and it doesn't matter anyway, but I would have had to think about this for a minute.

Is Ariza a positive or salary dump?

Yeah wow, this happened quickly. This is an incredible trade for Milwaukee. Bookmark this one so we can come back in a few years and see how it turned out, not so great for Atlanta I'll bet.

Wow what a trade for the Bucks! That ‘20 Atlanta 1st is almost guaranteed to be a Lottery pick. Look around in both conferences this year and look at the ratings of the players on the 7/8 seeds. Surprised this trade wasn’t scrutinized more. Well done Glenn

I think this is more even than it looks; Bogdan will be 27 this year, which isn’t old but doesn’t exactly mesh with the timeline of the rest of Atlanta’s roster. Bridges I like, but he’s stuck in Basketball Hell on Earth that is the Phoenix Suns, and who knows where Atlanta is after FA. This trade can be boiled down, to me, to would you rather have The Finnisher or Garland and a 2020 1st.

If he doesn't plan on keeping Bogdan b/c of timeline issues, fine, but that doesn't mean his value disappears. It just makes him expendable. But, moving him at severely diminished value is silly for that reason alone.
