Sa Spurs Accept. We needed a legit PG and this is step2 of a team revamp.

We are doing this because we need a legit PG. We still think Rubio has much much more left. And he's a legit PG. Everybody feeds off of him. We bring in Rubio and a FA or two, to play alongside the other young players we have acquired. We can now move one or two players and continue to rebuild. The upcoming season is about our rebuild. The next two seasons we will use our cap to bring FAs in to play with the players we are bringing in. We will have the cap and hopefully the roster to attract other FAs. We have enough second rounders in this draft to trade a few future seconds. We feel after we sign a FA or two and Rubio, we will have the backbone of the team established and we will be fine trading a few future picks for a legit PG. Rubio will be starting for us, with Waiters, a FA(hopefully), Thaddeus, and a few other players we feel will help us win some games. If not we are not afraid to get into the lottery this upcoming season, because we have our first rounder!!
