In the interests of the health of the league, whilst Dan Majerle is getting upset over nothing, the Staff have decided to put a temporary block on trading with the Phoenix Suns. Sorry James

You are trading this years Finals MVP for the 42nd pick and calling it strict when the trade is shot down? What exactly were you expecting from free agency, and what are you getting at when you talk about transparency with free agency? Do you want an open auction? Because that would be a nightmare, contracts are already inflated with our current system. Short of that there is no other way to do it without private negotiations.

It 's not about the system man as an agent you give status or updates to the gm that is offering the player If I did not pm about the updates would you care messaging me back after last 3 days? then you replied you need 2 days to decide damn 5 days not knowing if I could sign the player without any feedback to that's the dubious agent but when it come to other GM it takes 1 day they have player already.

I'm not really sure if you are talking about me specifically or just in a general sense. But it seems like you are mentioning my reply about Brandon Jennings. Which again kinda goes back to the post from the other thread where I talked about why we can't make decisions on the spot. Then let me ask you this Alex English how many days did you decide these players Jrue Holiday, Jeff Teague, Kyle Lowry? does it take you 5 days? Yes, you are definitely talking about me, so lets have a little review of our communications: - June 26th 8:58am: You made an offer for Ty Lawson - June 26th 2:51pm: I responded saying he decided to re-sign with Philly - June 26th 12:29pm: You sent and offer for Jrue Holiday - June 26th 2:59pm: I responded, part of my response mentioned it would be very difficult for him to leave the Bucks - June 27th 2:24am: You sent an updated offer - June 27th 10:21am: I responded saying it was a good offer, probably his second choice, but that he wouldn't be signing with you - June 27th 2:46am: You made an offer for Jeff Teague - June 27th 5:39pm: I responded saying this offer made the Suns one of his top two choices - June 27th 5:39pm-7:40pm: we sent 8 messages to each other about Jeff Teague, this comes out to 1 message every 15 minutes, Teague was really close to signing with the Suns but ultimately joined the Utah Jazz - June 28th 10:19pm: You made an offer for Brandon Jennings - June 29th 5:06pm: I responded to your offer - July 1st 3:16pm: You asked for an update - July 1st 3:32pm: I said I would sort out Jennings offers and make a decision in the next day or two, but that this was one of his best offers, though he did have more lucrative options and that you would benefit from increasing your offer - July 1st 3:35pm: You withdrew your offer and this whole nonsense kicked off I never once took longer than 19 hours to respond to an initial offer. The 2 day gap in the Jennings talks was the only time you asked for an update, which was very reasonable. I guess the only acceptable response to that request was to sign him immediately to the Suns because apparently that's the reason you are pissed off.

But still you did not answer my question how many days did it took you decide on those players I mention? I'm left in the air with out feedback if I did not follow-up on you you would respond, by the way it is not only you that I'm talking about.

Dude, Mr Majerle, if the time line that Alex posted is correct (which I bet it is), then you are way, way out of line with the complaints.

But still you did not answer my question how many days did it took you decide on those players I mention? I'm left in the air with out feedback if I did not follow-up on you you would respond, by the way it is not only you that I'm talking about. That's not really an answerable question. I guess you'd have to say from when free agency first opened until I posted the signing. But not really, since I get everyone's offer at a different time, and I can't deal with everything simultaneously. Also, to be honest, I don't really see why it is such a big deal that you are the one who has to initiate communication for feedback. I am not the GM of the Phoenix Suns, you are. If you are strongly interested in getting a player then it is up to you to show your interest. Everyone here has their own set of goals and their own plan for their team. I don't know if that sounds harsh, but as a player agent I can't take the point of view of one specific team and try and get a specific player to them. I have to consider everything from an objective place.
