As we begin the 2014 Off-Season Free Agency and approach the 2014 Draft, the Charlotte Hornets are taking the opportunity to continue to turn over a new leaf.
We have just re-vamped our courts, our uniforms, our name, and hopefully soon we'll be seeing the addition of a superstar player or two.
In accordance with these motions of renewal, the Charlotte Hornets will sadly have to part ways with former head coach, Dennis Rodman.
Mr. Rodman took us through some tough times and brought a level of excitement to the Charlotte basketball community that it had been lacking - keeping the fans interested and the players invigorated.
However, it is time to turn over a new leaf. Team owner Michael Jordan has been exploring his extensive basketball connections and employing some considerable pull to make this happen.
While this may come as a bit of a shock to some, it is with great pleasure and excitement that the Charlotte Hornets introduce their new head coach: Phil Jackson! Mr. Jackson has an extensive relationship with Michael Jordan and was very interested in the changes that Charlotte has made within the past season. As the NBA's all-time winningest coach, the all-time leader in championships, and the only coach in NBA history to win multiple chamionships with more than one team, we are very excited to see what he will be able to do with the Hornets!

Who is going to coach the road games? Phil has recently drank from the fountain of youth, he'll be traveling with the team.

The Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets/Whatever they are should hire Juan Ponce De Leon to be their assistant! If you get the joke, you are amazing!
