Houston Rockets Media Report
The Houston Rockets Public Relations team and Charles Barkley, well media reports say it was mainly Charles' idea, have decided to change the Rockets color scheme.
It has been announced that the Rockets will be bringing back the old school mustard and ketchup colors. Barkley said, "My favorite condiments are mustard and ketchup and it just so happens that they were the old colors, so I felt it was a perfect fit."
The PR team has also announced that gray and navy will be involved. This certainly makes for some interesting concept ideas as to what the jerseys and logos will look like. Our sources have also reported that Derrick Rose is highly involved in the design of these new jerseys. Rose had no comment, however, Oladipo had something to say, "Not only is D-Rose involved, we all are. We all get to sit and look at ideas and pick out what we like. We may not be the best team in the West, but we will definitely be the freshest."
In the last 2 days, Barkley has fired McHale as well as changing the colors. These changes are certainly interesting. This also seems like a rebranding from management to welcome in a new era. Hopefully this new era include making the playoffs and winning the Larry O'Brien.
