I accept.
This is a trade for us with 1 thing in mind, improving our starting lineup as we try to shake things up a touch to make a run at the playoffs.
Eric Gordon is the best player in this deal but not by a huge amount as he struggled some IRL this year. He will replace JJ Reddick as my starting 2 and JJ will move to the bench. Our 2 spot will become much better and much deeper.
Our concession is that we give up 2 guys that were basically our back up point guard. Jamal Tinsley is a vet and getting him back in this deal is ok but Shelvin Mack is the guy who will move up into the backup point guard role.
I felt like the difference b/t Gordon and Lou was less than the difference b/t Collison and Tinsley thus the inclusion of the 2 future 2nd round picks (which carry very little value in reality overall).
Obviously, from the Nets standpoint, he gets a player he really wanted in Lou Williams and also gets a pretty sizable upgrade at his back up point guard spot.

I guess Billy just missed Lou Williams too much. Accept.

Brooklyn does not own Toronto's 2017 2nd Rounder. Can you amend the deal guys?

I'll accept but I still don't see how in the world Louis Williams is rated 80+

I'll accept but I still don't see how in the world Louis Williams is rated 80+ Based on some other players rated similarly I think his rating is right where it should be. He may not get much attention, but he's an excellent scorer.

Lou Williams = 81 Klay Thompson = 79
This makes zero sense to me.

Like right now? He played in all 7 playoff games against the Pacers. He played in 60 games this year. But we still can't judge him on his performance this year? What is the threshold he has to pass before we can? 61 games? 66 games? 80 games? Seriously it makes no sense. 232 players played in fewer games this year than Louis Williams. It's questionable that he ever deserved his 81 rating.

Lou Williams = 81 Klay Thompson = 79 This makes zero sense to me. Why? The "little" Splash Brother regularly disappears in games. Honestly, all he can do is shoot 3s.
