Eh, I think this stuff is interesting so I thought it would be nice to get an update on everyone's life. My name is still Josh, I'm 22 now, just finished up my Master's Degree. I'm crash-coursing the CPA exam for the next 2 months, and after that I'm moving to Charlotte to start full-time work in September. One of my company's clients is the Bobcats/Hornets, so I'm pushing to be placed on that team so I'll get to work in the front office (non-basketball side : every day. My hobbies have pretty much dwindled as life seems to keep getting more and more hectic, but I still find time to play pickup every now and then. I've also started reading fantasy novels... like swords and magic and stuff. I used to think they were complete crap, but whatever, it keeps me sane. It's kinda cool to go back and read these thread as time progresses. Especially this one from 7 years ago...

Ok, I'll go. I'm Bob McAdoo or you can call me Michael.
I won't tell you how old I am but I got into professional basketball watching the Buffalo Braves of the early 1970's and whatever ABA games that were televised (not many). I remember being really excited by Dr. J's NBA championship but I lost interest in the NBA after that. After a hiatus of marriage/house/children, the NBA Canadian expansion, especially the Raptors and VC, drew me back in.
I love basketball as do both of my sons. I run pick-up and play competitive men's league as much as possible in the small town I live in. I'm proud that I've played alongside both my boys and continue to do so whenever possible.
I work in science/technology and have a real interest in statistical analysis and basketball. Other hobbies include books/reading, dogs/cats and being happily married.

I'm a 24 year old lazy Canadian stoner that works the night shift at a grocery store.
Once hit a game winning 3 in a high school basketball tournament with like 2 seconds on the clock. Just grazed front rim instead of swishing.

There is a second one too. I really want Kobe Bryant's magical shoes.

In follow up to myself 7 years ago: BostonI'm 25. Last summer I graduated with almost first class honors in Art History from the University of Kent in Canterbury. I'm obsessed with basketball but none of my friends know who Kobe Bryant is, let alone care! I've played ball since age 9, when I used to live in Melbourne in Australia. I would've made my Uni team if it weren't for a disasterous bout of laryngitis that screwed me over during the last round of tryouts! The reason I got laryngitis was because I'm a singer/guitarist and play around my town and had been singing too much My favorite bands are Deftones, Incubus, Radiohead, Nirvana and The Beatles. My girlfriend plays cello, piano and bass guitar and we rock! Tomorrow I'm playing at her Uni's summer-ball! Can't think of much else except maybe posting my MySpace or Facebook profiles, but I really only add people I know IRL anyway. I'm now 32! I since studied a Masters degree in Art History in Manchester but ended up in an IT Career which, at the moment, I really enjoy. I work at an old art gallery in London now, doing their IT! It's the perfect mix for me, I really enjoy working there, but I'm severely underpaid so sometime soon I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and go someplace that pays better but is less fun. I haven't played competitive basketball for many years now because there just isn't the interest for the sport in the UK. I play on my own, once every week/2weeks at my gym before I go work out. It's a sad, lonely life for a basketball obsessed guy in the UK. Still playing guitar! Yesterday I learned how to play Funky Monks by the Chilli Peppers. Such a good song. My main hobby is this very basketball league! I love it! At the moment I'm obsessively trawling through DraftExpress YouTube vidoes, casting my own evaluations on this year's prospects since my team's success depends upon it! There's nothing more fun than judging Kyle Anderson as a "slow, underathletic SF who relied on length but wont be able to do so in the NBA", haha
