Toronto SunRAPS SIGN DELL CURRYThe Toronto Raptors have added another assistant coach to their team today. ESPN is reporting that the Toronto Raptors have signed former Raptor Dell Curry to a 3 year deal. Many are surprised with the move since Dell Curry has no coaching experience. The Raptors right now are trying to fight for the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference and currently have a record of 22-34 on the season. “Since the Paul Millsap trade, the raptors have been playing decent. They have lost some close games and Kyle Korver has been a breath of fresh air since being inserted into the starting lineup. I feel I can help this team get into the playoffs but fixing the little things” said Curry ESPN is reporting, that the Toronto Raptors signed Dell Curry because of his son, Stephen Curry. Stephen Curry is schedule to become a free agent in the summer and many already have him slotted to return to Golden State. The Toronto Raptors has been saying they are happy with Kyle Lowry and hope to re-sign him to a long term deal in the summer, but who wouldn’t want Stephen Curry playing on their team? Could signing Dell Curry help the Raptors chances of signing Stephen Curry? When talking to Bryan Colangelo about the rumors of getting Stephen Curry in the summer time, he just smiled and said “we did this to get some help for Coach Casey, and that is it”. Only time will tell if Bryan plan works.
