Tracy McGrady, recently retired joined D5 to take his talents to a new level: General Management. After taking the job, T-Mac had his own agenda: turn this team into a contender. Not a big deal right? Well T-Mac meant now, a contender now. After a flurry of trades and a bunch of criticisms, T-Mac has turned his youthful, but far-from-contending starting 5 into one of the most exciting teams in the East.=========================================================== Let's take a look back at the trade that started it all: dynasty5ive.proboards.com/thread/3421/memphis-washingtonSome quotes/critiques about T-Mac's "plan":"This just goes against any kind of rebuilding plan. Why would a rebuilding team want JR Smith of all veterans?" - Walt Frazier
"Washington doesn't really have any choice at the moment other than to rebuild, trading away draft picks and your most talented youth is the opposite." - Ian Noble
"...it's pretty rare to be able to work all the right deals to go from a team like Washington has right now to a contender." - Walt Frazier============================================================ Now let's fast forward to today's Wizards. Coming off a victory against the Pelicans, the Wizards' newest player: Monta Ellis finished with 41 points in a convincing 27 point win.Source: www.iannoble.org.uk/results/1314/bxscr578.txtT-Mac has always been about winning and winning now. This has been the start of a really crazy rebuilding season hasn't it? And he is not even close to finishing.Starting 5 (pre-Tracy McGrady era)

It's a shame you had to trade Norris Cole's hair.

Only because you got away with murder in that trade for Horford and Teague I feel yeah, but can't really blame him for it.

Also a fun fact, even the Wizards bench line-up has a completely higher rating than the starting line-up he first had:
PG: C.J. Watson (75) SG: Courtney Lee (75) SF: Marvin Williams (77) PF: Cole Aldrich (71*) C: Chris Kaman (77)
