Taj Gibson
Current Rating: 78 Proposed Rating: 82-83
2012-2013 Stats:
65 GP (5 GS) - 8.0ppg - 22.4mpg - 5.3rpg - 0.9apg - 1.4bpg - 48.5%fg - 67.9%FT
2013-2014 Stats:
52 GP (8 GS) - 12.9ppg - 29.4mpg - 6.6rpg - 1.2apg - 1.5bpg - 48.4%fg - 72.5%FT
This guy really needs an increase. He is the most consistent player on the Bulls outside Noah. Increased FG Attempts but still converting at the same rate this year. Goes to the line more than last year but yet converting it at a higher percentage.

I vote for 79, hes a very good defender but offensively hes a little limited.

I think 78 is good for him right now. He needs Boozer to be traded and to get to play a lot, consistently, to get another boost IMO.

His numbers have gone up purely because of minutes. I mean he hasn't gotten worse by taking on more minutes (which can happen to younger players), but 48% FG percentage isn't great for a PF that doesn't shoot 3's. I'd say we can boost his FT a bit but that's about all.
He's not really shooting at all when he plays 20 minutes for you in the sim. I don't know if Live has a shot tendency thing like 2K does so maybe just turn that up because he has become more offensively gifted than the specialty spot defender he used to be.

I'm a Bulls fan and a big fan of Gibson, but I think he's fine at a 78.
Actually I could see him being a 79 or 80 but nothing above that for now.

Before I open these threads and read any analysis, I think about a rating in my mind that I believe the player should be. For Taj Gibson, I just now thought of 77-78... and he's a 78. so, yea. I don't really see any reason for an increase. My vote = 77.5 implying that you take intuition over empirical evidence and logical reasoning implying that the first thought off the top of your head is the correct answer He's really blossomed into one of the most integral parts of that Bulls roster. I say 81.

If Taj Gibson is a 79-81 rated player then Terrence Jones should be right there with him.
28 mpg / 11.7 ppg / 7.3 rpg / 1.2 apg / 1.4 bpg / FG 52.4%

I'd say keeping him at 78 is good as well, at least considering where the other bigs' ratings are right now.
