Dynasty Five's
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER 2013
CHRIS PAUL
Chicago Bulls
Chris Paul has been awarded this year's Most Valuable Player award!
Despite other candidates having arguably stronger supporting casts CP3 managed to keep the Bulls atop the league standings for 99% of the season, orchestrating a front court of Pau Gasol, Joakim Noah and Luol Deng.
Late in the season after the deadline departure of Deng (a move made to give the Bulls the space necessary to re-sign Chris Paul) the Bulls continued to excel and immediately adjusted to the introduction of Matt Barnes as a starting Small Forward.
Chicago, led by CP3, carried this momentum onwards into the Playoffs and have swept the first two rounds against Philly and the Indiana Pacers.
In a close race with so many contenders Chris Paul's main competition for the award, Lebron James, led the Bulls arch-rival Miami Heat and the two current face each other in the Eastern Conference Finals with the biggest prize of the season still to be decided!
Congratulations to Chris Paul, Aubrey Graham and the Chicago Bulls!
