The Spurs are in a tricky place at the moment and the TC needs to watch each move like hawks.
I don't really see SAS receiving much of value here except for Ed Davis. Mike Miller's retiring soon, isn't he? Ridnour and Villanueva are non-entities and the last I heard of Delonte West, he's a FA waiting for a team to pick him up.
On the other hand, whilst Beasley is a cancer he's nevertheless of some value. John Salmons has some trade value. Glen Davis is a solid player and did well for the Magic.
It's not rejectable, it's just that I think this depletes the Spurs talent pool even more in my opinion. Maybe others think differently though.

We are hoping to save cap in this trade. CV has a player option after the season and we believe he will opt out to play for a contender or a team that will give him playing time. I'm not a fan of salmons so basically it's his horrible contract for CVs player option. Selby and Price are junk to our team and are not in our future plans. That leaves Beasley and Davis. Beasley is the best player in the deal. IRL he may never amount to much. I think though sim wise he will def help NO contend. I figure Ridnour and West will give me production to replace Beasley. And really I still have to get Matthews involved as a starter soon. Although most of these ratings will drop some so will the players I'm trading so that's no big deal. That leaves Miller and Ed Davis for Glen Davis. I like Davis but his sim production sucks.... I do get a legit PG In Ridnour as well, until we draft or trade for a better PG. You guys know me. I'm active and it's my team and I won't leave the league even when I've lost 12+ str8 games. I'm committed.... Please approve
Plus my secret weapon--miller
May once again help the heat win it in the finals. I just see this happening. Lol

This trade allows my team to move my end of the bench players for ones that can contribute right away. Mike Miller is a great bench guy but he and Hayward are essentially the same player. Ed Davis has been buried in Memphis since he was traded there in real life. CV31 has negative value because he just doesnt produce in sim leagues for some odd reason. The only bad part of this trade for ke is giving up both of my backup PGs but with Conley due an increase and the NBA being a PGs league at the moment, it shouldnt be hard to find another one.
In this trade I take a flyer on SuperCoolBeas who has essentially thr same contract as CV31. I get a possible replacement PF in Glen Davis who is on a decebt deal. I also get Salmons who can produce once Grant Hill retires at the end of the season. This makes my 1-8 rotation better in the long run and buckles me down for a better chabce at the playoffs

First of all, there is no way in a million years that Charlie V will opt out of his contract, that's nuts. He'd be lucky to get 2 or 3 mil in FA, why would he pass up on 8.5 mil? It's good that JR is getting rid of Salmons and his contract though. Ed Davis is a good pick up and Ridnour is a decent back up PG. Beasley is a total head case, and he's far enough into his career that I think we can start assuming he'll never figure things out and put it together. Also Glen Davis will never be better than he is right now. I think you could get more for those two players but whatever, the player with the highest potential in this trade is Ed Davis, if he can ever get himself in a situation where he'll play 30 per night or more. So, I'll accept.
