We accept.
With Valuncias, MKG, AND Monroe as our core front court, all of which I will own Bird Rights to, ORL is a THREAT for the future baby! Taking in the Cap is worth the talent we receive in this deal.

I accept this deal. This is my first trade with D5 and what a way to start it off with Hibbert and West. I hate to give up Jonas but i feel at this time having Hibbert will be a great asset for me. Its risky since he is a free agent but i have now free up cap space for the following years with adding Josh and Andray into this deal. I'm pretty confident ill be able to re-sign Hibbert and also West but the trades are just beginning for me. For Gordon, i was not going to sign him, i have been trying since i became GM to trade him since he has not gelled with the team at all and i rather stick with Rudy at SG.
Some of you might ask, what will i do with Zbo and West? The answer which will likely not go well with some of you, and that, is that West will be playing SF. But i am looking to trade Zbo or West right now but im a GM who doesnt like to rush. I would rather this trade pass then work on the next step. I have a month till trade deadline and i should be able to find myself a replacement SF and one true PF.

I would accept this. I think just looking at this trade alone that it's fair enough and kinda fits the directions of both teams. However I'm not sure I can accept because of Orlando's cap situation. With 41 mil on the books for next season already and 18 mil extra incoming from this trade since all outgoing players are expiring means it will be impossible to re-sign Eric Gordon since there won't be any cash to give to him.

I'm on the fence of this trade. I think for now I will accept it though. Hibbert isn't a shoe in to re-sign with the Magic and this way Orlando gets a young center prospect to go along with Kidd-Gilchrist to start building up a formidable young front court.
I accept.

I'm not going to try to resign Gordon. I'm going to try to trade him to someone who can for value, if not then I'll lose him, but I think Val being on his rookie contract makes up for that.

Ok I'll accept this. Gordon will probably be gone by next week given how sim leagues operate.

This is some questionable trading from our new Toronto GM in my opinion.
The Raptors have an equally miniscule chance of re-signing Hibbert and they're also picking up David West to sit on the bench behind Zach Randolph. Rudy Fernandez moves to Small Forward and... Wes Johnson starting SG?
In terms of team outlook the Raptors have some good young pieces they're shipping for expiring or old pieces here.
In terms of appealing trade value the Raptors are moving two of only 4 decent pieces (Jonas V and Eric Gordon, leaving John Wall, ZBo and no draft picks until 2015) in exchange for Roy Hibbert, who they could very easily lose, and David West who really doesn't have any trade value unless you move him for a young bencher and a 1st to a contender.
Sorry guys, I reject.

With the way the team is playing, and no draft picks (which clearly isnt my fault since the past gm traded all away) are you telling me that this team could go to the playoffs and beat everyone else? This is the same problem i had when i join D5 long time ago and i ended up making the playoffs the following year with the bobcats because i made a bold move to trade some of the future (which at the time was Al Horford). As i said it looks bad now but the final output for the new season will be better. The season is already at lost, why keep this same lineup that hasnt done anything for me and this team? Eric Gordon, what a joke of a player who's averaging 12 points a game. Was not going to bring him back. I still have John Wall who is still young as well. everyone has there opinions and i accept that, i just dont want to be thrown under the buss because of what the old raptors GM did to this team by trading all its 1st and 2nd rounders. I'm not trying to rebuild this team, i'm trying to retool this team. here is my track recorddynastyfive.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=media&action=display&thread=4086dynastyfive.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=acceptedtrades&action=display&thread=2592dynastyfive.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=acceptedtrades&action=display&thread=3212

You question shitty gm's, and when good GM's make risky moves, then you reject them. Talent is talent, value is value, I'm all about talent, not value.

I too am not a big fan of this trade. I agree w Ian's rationale. There's no guarantee that Hibbert will sign w either of these teams and Hibbert/West appear to be the best parts of this trade.
I reject

I honestly can't see how this trade is being stalled. Childress and Blatche are some seriously bad contracts, he was pretty much sure to have to give up some good value to get them off this team, and I honestly think he's getting off pretty light here.
As for the SG rationale, is the positional need really that much heavier than the long term flexibility that this would grant the Raptors?

I'm very on the fence on this one guys. But, since I'm the last one to vote I don't want to hold it up, so here goes.
We can look back on this in a year and say, worst case - Toronto lost Jonas but cleared off 13+ million in bad contracts (plus another few million for Jonas' contract) and got himself some flexibility for the future. I really wish there was a pick or two in here just to try to replenish that a little bit...just saying.
Orlando gains the best long-term dynasty piece in Jonas, but he has a lot to prove, and he has to take on those two bad contracts.
Best case, maybe Toronto can sign one of Hibbert/West (preferably Hibbert) to pair with Wall and now something is cooking. It'll be easier to do this b/c he cleared off so much cap.
The positional thing isn't a huge deal to me. He can try West at SF for a little bit, or make a trade before long.
Honestly I got a headache looking at this trade. All expirings going one way, huge bad contracts with a very promising rookie-contract player, plus another expiring going the other. It's a bit of a clusterf**k of value to figure out, but my final vote is going to be...
Accept.

I was really against this deal, but since the new TOR GM actually won Executive of the Year a few years ago I feel reassured.
Trade passed. Only just.
