Capping contracts for realism is apparently a thing of the past I guess. Free agency is like pulling teeth now lol.

Thank god. Capping was always the silliest thing we did here. If people are gonna pay up, let them. With the cap increasing year over year so many teams have 100 mil in cap. Let them spend it.

Thank god. Capping was always the silliest thing we did here. If people are gonna pay up, let them. With the cap increasing year over year so many teams have 100 mil in cap. Let them spend it. That's fine and all, until that team gets into cap hell and the GM quits on their team and leaves the league. We've had a lot of bloated deals over the years that end up ruining franchises and then the GM just ups and leaves. Just want the health of the league to be good.

Can he accept that player option now? You know what's nuts, even though I think this is kind of a dumb contract... I'm not sure he will accept that PO by the time we get there. lmao I could DEFINITELY see it being a slam-dunk accept but could also see a world where he develops more and more, over 3 full years, and with the cap increase, etc... Will be a "fun" one to watch but I really think this is an insane contract at present time.
