Isaiah Thomas - Denver NuggetsIsaiah Thomas has agreed to a 3 year contract with the Denver Nuggets: Year 1: $9,258,000 MLE Year 2: $9,952,350 Year 3: $10,646,700 Total: $29,857,050 Alex English and the Nuggets approached IT very early in the free agency process, offering a starting position on a championship calibre, veteran team. We cannot imagine a better situation for Isaiah, and when it became apparent that the monetary value of the contract was on the top-end of his market, we decided to pull the trigger and join the Nuggets. We want to thank every team that submitted an offer, especially Larry Bird and the Pacers organization for the faith they showed in IT during a tough time in his career.

Welcome to Denver! After trading away Chris Paul I was hoping to get either Isaiah or Brogdon to fill my PG spot. Brogdon was never realistic since he'll sign for way more than MLE, so I'm very happy to have Isaiah. If his first few games for Washington are any indication, he should have a resurgence this season.

Wow this might be the first move Alex has made that I disagree with I think I'm buying low on him. If he has a role in Washington that's anything close to what he had in Boston, then he'll light it up like he always does.

agree with scal. This could pan out if IT stays as a 80ish overall but 3 years from now he may be done Low Key people are forgetting IT is 75 rated right now He's also averaging 16.5 points and 7.5 assists in only 22 minutes per game to start the season for the Wizards. Give me a little more sample size and he's got an easy rating boost, especially given his history as a former All-Star.

Altough I would probably take the exact same one if I was in your position

For the record I absolutely hate FA while real games are being played.

Agreed.
Glad Thomas found a team, but we wouldnt know how he would have come back if the games were not already being played.

Don't get it. Isn't Thomas going to be waived by the Clippers?

Don't get it. Isn't Thomas going to be waived by the Clippers? Yeah, I'm the Jim Carrey in this situation that's "laughing" but is actually angry. I'm making fun of my bad decision. You know, it's like sarcasm
