Tralblazers Receive: Trevor Booker (76) - $3,000,000
Lakers Receive: Cash Considerations
I accept. Trevor Booker is a solid rotation player that has played well for me. However, I need to free up cap space for this season and I have no intention on re-signing him this summer. He has the chance to go and play for a team competing for a playoff spot.

If we are gonna complain about benching higher rated players then we need to start complaining about cutting and trading (for nothing) higher rated players too. It’s a bit silly and unrealistic if you think about it.

Trevor Booker isn't helping me in the long-turn and it's debatable that he's really helping me now anyways.

It’s a bit silly and unrealistic if you think about it. This totally cuts into GMs autonomy. Tanking teams cut players all the time IRL. Like Greg Monroe or Marco bellineli this past season. There's tons of more examples I just can't think of off the top of my head. It happens every year. It'd be more unrealistic to not allow this imo

When a guy decides they are tanking in D5 they'll sign them in the offseason and cut him day 2 of the season.
