I accept. I love Spencer Dinwiddie and his game. Dinwiddie is in the midst of a great season for Brooklyn despite them being one of the worst teams in the league. He is averaging 13 points and 6.9 assists per game while having the highest net rating on his team among players that have played more than 45 games. Dinwiddie is still developing and is on a great contract. With his Bird Rights coming with him, I believe he is a young player that I can build around. The core of him, Hood, and Warren have the making of a good supporting cast. If I am lucky enough to get a star in the draft or in free agency, this has the potential of being a good team.
Gay is having a great season, but he needs to be moved. I have depth at the SF position and he doesn't factor into my future. Forbes has shown promise and his rating is way too low in the sim, but I believe Dinwiddie has a higher ceiling and more upside.

Bryn should be a 72 rated player, Rudy is a big upgrade at the 3 spot over Belinelli even if he gets lowered a bit. I spend less than Dinwiddie and due to the TO I get roster flexibility.
Dinwiddie is a player that reminds me of Shawn Livingston. Not really a scorer but can do pretty much anything else, I do think if he was dropped on a team where he was the 3rd option his percentages would go up.
I accept.

I totally agree with this assessment of Dinwiddie. His efficiency drops because he's forced to be the focal point of Brooklyn's offense. NBA executives recognize this. The Cavs rumored to offer their 1st for Dinwiddie before being turned down and sending it to LA.

Roster flexibility is a big reason for this trade for me. I have draft rights guys coming up soon, another draft pick that doesn't look like it's going anywhere.
