Current Rating: 79
Suggested Rating: 86
I couldn't find an increase pending for Jokic but 79 is just way too low. He is the best passing big in he league, an excellent post scorer and a very good shooter and rebounder.
He is a weak defender imo but at least tries hard.
Overall its clear this guy is a franchise player and if the IRL Nuggets weren't stupid and traded Nurkic earlier, he probably would've dragged them to the playoffs last year.
Stats: 16.7 PPG 9.8 RPG 4.9 APG (!) 64% TS On-Off: +11.9
And this is with him starting only 60 games

Man you guys love to jump the gun on this stuff. 86? Are you serious? And he's a weak defender "but at least tries hard." That line is ridiculous and shouldn't factor in to any rating change. So we're giving brownie points on effort? Also extremely subjective.
83. Once again we have a guy who is very talented and stuck on a shitty team. I'd really like to see how he plays with Millsap first.
Don't get me wrong, this guy is legit but he doesn't deserve that kind of rating just yet. The way some of you vote we'll be right back here with tons of decrease threads soon.

They might not make the playoffs again given that 80% of the top players are in the west.

Denver wasn't shitty. They were actually pretty good. I don't consider sub-.500 good. They finished 1 game behind Portland and a .500 record in one of the most stacked conferences ever. Lets not act like they were trash.

Not to mention, once they put the ball in Jokic's hands their team had the best offense in the NBA for the rest of the season.

Walt FrazierSo, just bumping this because there are very few votes, but also to point out the 4 statistical categories I think need the most attention. Passing: Currently 45 should easily be decent point guard level. Handle: Currently 25 runs the floor all the time, should be pretty decent. OAware: Currently 70 needs a bump. Stealing: Currently 35 he averages 1.3 steals a game. Still pretty poor at inside D but overall at least by advanced stats isn't total garbage.

Reason this got so few votes is because there was already a thread for him at the time that the OP missed. I'd just start a new thread, don't use this one, it confuses the issue.
