Taj Gibson is going to sign with the T-Wolves to the following deal:
Year 1: $6,262,927
Year 2: $7,078,542
Year 3: $7,894,157
Year 4: $8,709,772 (Player Option
Taj had some good offers on the table but decided to go help the T-Wolves. Minny was 2nd place this year in the West and Taj felt he could help them in the playoffs!

Welcome Taj! We are very excited to add Taj to our championship-contending team! We now have a very strong top 8 locked up with a 9th on the way that has defense and offense covered in spades! We've also noticed that Taj had added a midrange shot to his game lately, adapting to the new NBA while still doing the things that made him effective before.
Excitement abounds in Minnesota!

Great deal for Walt!
Although Taj is probably wishing he wouldn't have opted out of his last contract. He is going to make about $2.4M less next season on this new contract.
