Anthony Davis heading back to the Bucks with the following deal:
Year 1: $30,294,000 Year 2: $32,566,050 Year 3: $35,008,503 Year 4: $37,634,140 Year 5: $40,456,701
Anthony Davis falls under the "Derrick Rose Rule" which is why his salary is not considered a 25% increase but 30%. This was an easy decision for Davis. The Bucks were a great powerhouse team in the East and Davis expects that to continue for the foreseeable future. We appreciate all the offers and love other GMs sent our way but Davis heart is set on winning the championship with the Bucks.
Admin Edit:
After revisions to the salary cap, Anthony Davis's contract will be:
$29,729,900 $31,959,643 $34,189,385 $36,419,128 $38,648,870

Wow. I can't believe you've done this. Who turns down an MLE offer to play for the Nuggets?

Also this contract is wrong. 30% of 99 million is $29,700,000. The number in the rules section is incorrect. It needs to be adjusted downward slightly.
Edit:
His contract should be: Year 1: $29,700,000 Year 2: $31,927,500 Year 3: $34,322,063 Year 4: $36,896,217 Year 5: $39,663,433 Total: $172,509,213

Ian NobleI think your numbers in the "max contract" area are still based off the 102 million cap projection, maybe?

Where are the scales on max contracts listed w the Rose rule? The Rose Rule starts at $29,729,900 now that we know exactly what the salary cap will be. I will update AD's contract.

May want to change the wording on the rule or else Davis doesn't met it, never won an MVP.
Also, it's All-NBA in the fourth year or two of the years between 2-4. Same with DPOY and All-Star.
The way it currently reads is that a player needs to meet all of the conditions.

Also, it'd be a lot cooler if it were a D5 MVP, etc, and we all voted on them.

Still a little early for me this morning. Was trying to save you some money, not that it matters.

I think it would be cool if we could all vote on D5 MVP and start using that as the Rose rule.

Hoping to see some promises and plans of the team that signed him. We need to see the explanation to build up the character of the GMs..
