I accept. Need more scoring on my roster and Johnson/Williams provide that. Johnson will be a nice replacement in the starting lineup and Williams can take over the 6th man role that Avery Bradley is leaving behind.

Jesus Christ this is horrible for Indiana I'm inclined to agree, there is a chance that Parsons returns to his former self if he can stop breaking.

I accept this trade. I get a 1st Rounder coming up shortly. This is all part of trying to go young with Indiana. We will have 3 1st rounders come on board this next season in D.J. Wilson, Willy Hernangomez, and the #28. We also have two 2nd rounders in the 30's to pick. That will be 5 rookies. If Indiana has a down year this year, that's alright. We have our 1st rounders and will be hanging on to them.
I believe Parsons can have a bounce back year this year. There are points to be had in Memphis. Why can't he be the one to get some of them?
Lou had a good year, and is a good player. He scored pretty well playing next to James Harden. The Clippers traded their play maker to Houston for Williams though. I don't believe he'll see the same situation which allowed him to score at the same rate in Los Angeles? Austin Rivers will be their starting point guard and he and The Beard are on different levels.
I do have to trade Joe Johnson, an Arkansas guy, but at what point is he going to slow down completely? If he can mold his game into a stretch 4 he can have a couple more productive years.

I like this a lot for Indiana. Take a chance on Parsons and get a 1st along the way.

My team was almost the definition of average last season. We were 42-40 and #14 in the league. Putting up that kind of record. We can afford to take a chance on Parsons. If he plays well, we have some one to put beside Gallinari and Hernangomez. If he doesn't return to form we let the rookies play more.

Parsons done imo. Knee and back issues aren't the easiest to fix.

Lou Williams alone is worth the 28th pick. That Parsons contract is beyond toxic and IMO his career is done, so INDY takes pretty much $20+ million of dead salary for the next 3 years for free.

Actually, it's just $10-$12 mil gamble. I have an aging Johnson, who I can't trade. He has 3 years on my team remaining.

Milwaukee managed to get rid of Parsons. Wow. That guy is done, and Indiana will be hurting in the next few season by eating that contract.

I accept, there's pluses and minuses on both sides really, it's not extreme enough to reject for sure.

Parsons' contract is definitely scary but there's still a shot at it not being a negative. Pretty close, but I can't bring myself to reject, so yeah.
Accept.

I'm OK with this. I could make a stronger argument against Indy than I can against Milwaukee, but you can actually see some negative and some positive on both ends, regardless of a personal preference, so, OK.
Accept.
