Salary Cap 2017/18The NBA does not usually announce the exact salary cap amount for the following year until one or two days after Off Season Free Agency has begun. For example last year they announced on July 2nd. Since OSFA starts on July 1st Dynasty Five will operate with the predicted Salary Cap of $102,000,000 until an exact figure is given by the NBA. Predicted Salary Cap: $99,093,000 Predicted Hard Cap: $198,186,000 Predicted League Maximum Contract: see Rules Thread. The following for Mid-Level Exceptions and Minimum Contracts are already set in stone, although will change if the NBA makes changes: Predicted MLE: $8,406,000 Predicted League Minimum Contract: $815,615 These changes will not take effect until July 1st in D5.

Salary Cap potentially being revised down by $3million! Plan for flexibility GMs! Not potentially, that's for sure. The NBA took a 75 million dollar hit on NBA Playoffs being shortened.

Updated: projected salary cap revised down to $99,000,000
I was thinking of not making this change right now, because we had been projecting a $102,000,000 salary cap, but the cap will be revised anyway, as soon as the NBA announces the new cap, so it's better to be as close to the truth as possible anyway.

I thought the hard cap was supposed to decrease in percentage again, when is that happening? It decreased from 220% to 200% this year.
