Rules section link at the top Whats it called? Im sorry I just dont see it in the rules section There isn't really a thread that explains the simming process, I don't think. We sim in real time on a day-to-day basis with NBA Live 06. Our season is basically the NBA season but delayed by a few months. We start in December every year. Full ratings can be found here: dynasty5ive.proboards.com/thread/9073/player-ratings-11th-march-2017

How the players are doing IRL? And when is a players rating changed?

Yea ratings are based off of real life performance, and they're changed more or less on a continuous basis. They will get done in batches with a dozen or so guys updated every month, maybe, basically as the Stock Watch Sections discussion threads die down. Though we haven't had any ratings updated in a while, now that you bring it up. I guess that's because Walt Frazier is a good for nothing lazy bum.

How often does a GM leave? Or should I plan on joining someone as a Assistant GM.

Yea, I hit a pretty busy section of work/life there haha. And then, wasn't going to update DURING the playoffs, but I should get to work on finishing the ratings that are ready to be input into the game. Just gotta do those and have them ready to send to Ian when playoffs are finished.

Hi killerdawg7, welcome to D5! I've added you to the Waiting List for now, but you can become an assistant GM in the meantime if you like, just need to choose a name for yourself (your real name is good, because that's original, or someone associated with the NBA who is not an active player).

Sorry. I couldn't resist. Definitely wiffed on Kristaps. Booker can score, but imo he's still gonna be a useless player when it comes to actually being a part of a good team. The role of "guy who can score but literally does nothing else" is not an important role on a playoff team.

He could be JR Smith on the Cavs, but I think Booker fans imagine a bigger role for him than just being a spot up jump shooter that gets hot every once in a while. Also, I hope that means you don't want to draft Malik Monk.

Sure, I'll agree with that. Booker and Smith are a real solid floor too. But unless you own someone else's pick, if you're a bottom 8 team in the league and you're taking Monk and think you're gonna be better next year you've fucked up majorly.
