He's faster than John Wall
Stronger than Lebron James
Better skyhook than Kareem
He's actually bigger than Shaq but as he approaches light speed he appears to us, the viewer, as if he is merely a 6'7" small forward. His shorts are actually moving faster, hence the reason they appear shorter than most short shorts.

He has played valuable mins in the playoffs and if Stevens believes in this kid this much already he has game. He can only get better. I don't like rating too high until a year++ has gone by, but I like his game.

73.
What is this? Can you all please look at his stats. 6.6 points and 2.8 rebounds on decent percentages. His per 36 numbers are average at best, his advanced stats number are terrible. Everything across the board has dropped for the playoffs too. Where is this high 70s player you guys are talking about?
I can see flashes of the player he could become, and I think the Celtics do a great job with player development, but this guy is still a long way away. He needs a year or two at least.

Most rookies do need 2 years or so on average. Give the kid credit. The Celtics coach trusts this kid so much that he plays him in the playoffs in his rookie season!! And as the first off the bench in a game or two in the series against the Wizards. He is on a playoff team. If he was on a team like the Sixers he would have the opportunity to play more and get experience. Jaylen has to prove he deserves mins on a team already playoff ready. Why do they need to give him any mins? It's because he can defend and has the skills to produce and make the right decisions. Honestly I feel he has the talent that he could have shown more and improved.. But I'll say this.. He's better than Michael Carter-Williams!! Numbers don't always make the player... his basketball IQ and his defense is above that of many other rookies.

Numbers don't always make the player... his basketball IQ and his defense is above that of many other rookies. ----------------------------------------------------- He's averaging the 4th lowest minutes per game in the playoffs, beating out Jonas Jerebko, Tyler Zeller and Joseph Young averaging 3 points per game. Lets calm down with this Stevens trusts him bullcrap. He's literally the last guy in the rotation. He played 7 more minutes per game in the regular season because Stevens wants to develop him, that's the same kind of thing Popovich does. 60% of his makes come from within 3 feet of the basket. Only other player on the roster with that kind of number is Amir Johnson. Keep in mind that Brown is supposed to be a wing. Brown is a rookie. He plays average defense which looks really good compared to the other bench players on Boston. He spells Crowder occasionally in the playoffs. That's it. Everything else he sucks at. FT%, Passing, Shooting. And he's an alright rebounder, rebounding at a worse rate than Avery Bradley who's like 6'1" How much does an average defender that sucks at everything but layups deserve? 73, he's at least decently athletic and he'll probably be a little better to start next season.
