I'm surprised Billy is willing to give up guaranteed NBA superstar Guerschon Yabusele, but I accept.

Looking closely... BK gave up too much for a player who has the upside of a #2 star who just got his first ACL injury.... Too much that it should be rejected...

I'd just like to thank the TC for forcing the worst team in the league to further devalue itself to get a guy that tore his ACL that isn't even the 2nd best player on his team.

It's because a) you're a trusted veteran GM and b) your team still has lots of good assets. My team sucks as well but nobody's going to say I need babysitting for those same reasons.

I don't see how a trade goes from rejectable on PHX side to almost rejectable on my side by adding Davis and the 2020 1st. What this actually means is the first one shouldn't of been rejected at all. The line between bad for Phoenix and bad for me shouldn't be so thin, makes no sense.

Ugh. I REAAAAAAALLLY HOPE this is not a trade we're looking at in 2 years saying "how the hell did that get through? Bunch of bench players for LaVine?! I would rather Utah had to give better assets rather than more assets.
Basically, I just can't reject it even though I still worry about it a lot.
So, accept. Good luck Jared, I hope you do better here than I'm making it sound.

I still think this is an awful trade for Phoenix. He is not getting one piece that has for-sure value, and he is trading away a 22 year-old, 80 rated player whom everyone loves. I don't get the urgency in trading Lavine. Phoenix doesn't even own his own pick.

Well the Wolves are doing quite well since Lavine went out... better in fact. Its entirely possible he isn't even the 3rd best player on the team. 3rd-4th best player on a terrible team who then tears his ACL... yeah I should definitely be giving up another superstar :/ ...

I can't argue with you because I respect the game you are playing. You huff and puff and act like this is such a bad deal for you, but then a month from now you will be telling everyone how you "trade raped" Phoenix to get Lavine. inb4 comment about trade raping me for a detroit pick that i never owned

Though the "month from now" is a year to two years, due to a torn ACL. It's also high risk for never happening. We will see. I could've just gutted my team for nothing.

Do I have to put ullis in the stock watch before I can sign him You could sign him and put his contract on the books anytime you want within the season, but I think you're going to need a stockwatch if you intend to play him.

It's because a) you're a trusted veteran GM and b) your team still has lots of good assets. My team sucks as well but nobody's going to say I need babysitting for those same reasons. Thats my poimt. What I don't get is why you act like Davis is anything. You know damn well that you don't care about that player. Talent Assessment for this trade: You know Deyonta Davis, Georges Niang are VERY fringe prospects. That 2020 pick is likely nothing with Westbrook still on the books for Charlotte, OKC's pick is likely nothing given your own words about how everything after the lotto is trash. This trade is flat out Emmanuel Mudiay and Guerschon Yabusele for Zach Lavine. Mudiay is an underperforming softmore who's taken a step back and is in a crowded back court. Guerschon's value is purely from Boston only having 9 guaranteed guys on the roster next season and most likely having a spot in the rotation just because he has a strength in one of their weaknesses (rebounding). FOR Zach Lavine is himself potentially with a knee issue. In summation: This is one PG who can't shoot, a real prospect, and a bunch of fringe to outright bad prospects for a PG that looked on track to make all-star games. The players he should be trying to move are Thad Young, Tobias Harris, and Taj Gibson. Those aren't crazy great dudes, but their contracts aren't THAT bad and could probably be moved for old guys on bad contracts who you could put in lower threads for. All that said, the value on the surface is there, it's acceptable. But lets not act like it's not a heist. It's only acceptable on the technicality that Zach Lavine has some downside now. PS: Tyler Ulis, Georges Niang both need signed to contracts before the season is up. Ian Noble Jared Montini
