I accept. This season has been a disaster. We are currently one of the 10 worst teams in the league after coming into this season looking towards this playoffs. I understand loyalty and we're sorry we have to do this to Brandon but it just makes no sense for the franchise to keep him here. We thank Brandon for his many year here and wish him well in Washington where he and D'Lo can form a high scoring duo.

Damn. BK been with the Pelicans since 13-14 at least. I actually like Knight and think he will turn it around a little been if he ever gets to a team thats right for him. Solid pickup by Washington, I like the moves he's making with his franchise.

Hurts to let him go. Sad day and sad year.

This leaves me scratching my head. It makes less sense for Washington than the Tobias Harris deal.

If Washington submitted a 5 team trade in which he traded away picks for Tobias Harris, Brandon Knight and Jahlil Okafor I would've probably been more tempted to accept that Tobias Harris deal that upset Mr Montini so much.
But this is now more of a discussion about - does Knight, Okafor, D'Angelo Russell and Tobias Harris create a team that's going anywhere? I guess the answer is "maybe in the East"?
I felt like I understood Washington's lack of trade activity the last few years because he was patiently mopping up the mess that Hall of Shame GM Tracy McGrady left behind with a view to rebuilding long-term. These recent deals are much better than TMac's travesty, but it does abandon the rebuild.

I accept,
I would've wished WAS got some draft picks from NOH instead of dealing two since he took on 18 million of salary but hey two second rounder's wont kill him.
IF Knight can turn it around, he could trade him for better assets or even trade Russell.

Man... This is a tough one. I trust Scal enough. If this was the other way around I might reject but Brian has earned the benefit of the doubt and he's super frustrated with his team so I get it.
Washington gets a player who had legit value not long ago. They're pretty devoid of talent so, I like the redistribution of wealth here.
I'll accept.
