Its nice that James takes advantage of the free agent he just signed mid-season when no one knew we could sign him in Bertans.
I know there is a rule about signing a guy in-season and trading him in that same season, but I think the requisite time has passed, but its worth checking in to

Only taking on Huertas which honestly doesn't hurt me at all.

Cant do this trade. 4.7 on Leonard is more than 125% of the 3.5 mil James is giving up. Also your before and after salaries are off. Anyways back to the drawing board. I have a few ideas.
