Our RC did their best to meet the consensus 96 vote for Stephen... In the process though, they made a MUCH better Stephen Curry than what he is in real life...
Here are some of the overrated skills... FG = 99 - The guy is attempting 16.6% of his shot from the midrange.. Knocking down 45.7% (10-16) and 43.6% (16<3) Inside Scoring = 86 - I am not pretty sure but this is more about post-ups so I don't think he deserves an 86..
DAware = 91!!!!!!! Klay is only 79! Draymond is at 85!! DReb = 65.... Really..
Jump = 74.... Really...
The RC did their best to give us the most realistic Curry as possible, but 96 is just too much.....
I vote 92...
And by the way, his numbers are down....

I was thinking this thread would ask Curry to be a 98 before opening it. I wish it was as it would have given me reason to put up a thread for Durant to be a 110.

Good post Hana, I agree. I don't think steph is any worse of a player than last year but his ratings are kinda wierd. 94

It's odd. I don't think Curry has gotten worse - I think he's simply adjusting to having K fuckin D on his team.
That being said, yeah some of those ratings look off, although I say leave FG and Inside Scoring alone.

94 - I think his d rebounding needs to come down along with, d awareness, and his strong attribute. Right now his strong is higher than Thompsons--just seems odd.

Agree that some of his lower numbers are due to Durant but playing with Durant also makes some things easier for him as well. I have personally never felt he was a 96. Clearly 3pt shooting shouldbe a 99 but defensive rebounds, defensive awareness, etc are way high.
I vote 94 but could even be swayed lower.

Thanks to KD's injury I have seen enough. He is not the same Stephen Curry... And his defense is below average...

Still too early to say. We need to wait for KD to be out for longer first. You don't nerf a guy this quickly when last year he was a generational talent.

Now that the team lacks the depth it was known for and he actually has to shoulder a lot of the load we're seeing that Curry is VERY one dimensional.

Looking at his actual OVR Ratings, his rebounding and DAware are WAY over-inflated. 93.

Not Klay Curry... I already presented the overrated attributes of the D5 Steph...

Offense being his one dimension. He's a great passer, nothing he does is unbelievable like say a Manu Ginobili or Jayson Williams or someone like that. Also, yeah he makes layups. But it can not be overstated how much having 4 guys who stretch the floor keep opponents from being able to help properly on Curry.

He had the greatest offensive season since Jordan last year, hands down. I'm not even a huge curry fan, I'd take kd over him, but to say all he does is make layups when he has some of the best handles in the league and gets into the lane at will, finishing with unbelievable floaters, that's crazy. He has an extremely diverse offensive game. Not every great player is a ferocious dunker. He's not even that terrible a defender. He gets a lot of steals, near the top of the league, and even though he is below average he still tries hard which is more than some guys.

I am not pressuring the RCs but for the sake of a much REALISTIC Playoffs, but for the sake of a more REALISTIC playoffs, I am hoping the RCs will choose the decrease of Curry as one of the priority.
