I accept. As Jeremiah has said a million time, "no one will sign with Detroit." Therefore, I feel like I need to use my cap space as an advantage in order to acquire value, and taking Kyle Singler's contract for a pick is a good deal in my opinion.

Really? I would rather cut those two players with the team options and overpay in free agency.

If not, Makes it sound like you don't want to put the work in during free agency.

I don't see any way anyone else could actually reject this, even if they wouldn't do it themselves. Not taking on a ton of money for Detroit and he is adding a pick, even if it's likely a pretty meh pick. Still a pick.

Ok I accept.
To me it seems a more obvious strategy to let Gooden and Udrih expire and then let them walk this off season.
So the Pistons get stuck with Singler, but with the cap increasing so much it kinda doesn't matter that much. So you get a measley 2nd Rounder, ok then.
