Current: 81 Suggested: 86
Jabari has gone Over 9000 this season alongside Giannis.
14.1ppg -> 20.8ppg 5.2rpg -> 5.7rpg 1.7apg -> 2.6apg
9/35 3PT in 75games -> 56/133 3PT in 38games. 25% 3PT -> 42% 3PT
Jabari's also 9th in the Eastern Frontcourt's All Star Votes, just behind Paul George (and he has more than double the number of votes Andrew Wiggins does). The other night when Giannis was out, Jabari led the way to get a win versus the Spurs whilst guarding/being guarded by Kawhi Leonard.
Jabari is the quiet-side of the Bucks duo, whilst Giannis is taking all the attention Jabari's been quietly dominating alongside him and not getting as much attention. We have Giannis Antetokounmpo scheduled for an increase to 89, Jabari shouldn't be too far behind.

He was rated too high in the first place. He literally brings worse than nothing on defense. Jabari may one day be competing for scoring titles, but his overall +- in a game is always gonna be average starter material.

Melo is better than Jabari on defense and a better rebounder and creator for others. Jabari is still young though, but at this point Melo exceeded Jabari in all three of those areas. Jabari seems to just grab the ball sometimes ignores everyone else on the team, it's been going in so that's fine, but Melo at least *looks*, Jabari puts his head down on almost every drive he does. With all that being said, I think prime Jabari could look a lot like 30 year old Melo.

I think anywhere from 80-82 sounds good for now, so I vote no change

I'll give him 83, he's shooting 0 3 pointers in the sim that needs to be adjusted for.

I think prime Jabari could look a lot like 30 year old Melo. Current Jabari is already pretty much as good as 30y/o Carmelo. Current Jabari: 20.8 / 5.7 / 2.6 30y/o Melo: 24.2 / 6.6 / 3.1 30 year old Melo was rated 92. It wasn't until 2 years later (this season) he was moved to an 88. edit: Shooting Percentages: Jabari / Melo @ 30 / Prime MeloFG 50% / 44% / 45% 3P 42% / 34% / 40%

82. He was definitely overrated last season. He doesn't need much of a boost, just to have his ratings adjusted.

Jabari is just as athletic as Giannis, if not more so? Jabari's quicker, has better hops and is stronger. Giannis has more length. Jabari's also a better scorer than Giannis.

Jabari is just as athletic as Giannis, if not more so? Oh, Ian. I didn't realize it was this bad... These are examples of great length because Giannis barely needs to jump to dunk it. But Giannis's vertical leap is not as high or explosive as Jabari, even though his reach, and his maximum vertical reach, will be higher. It's not so much athleticism as it is wingspan.

I'm not saying Giannis isn't also an athletic freak of nature, I'm just saying if you're talking athleticism Jabari's got more quickness, vert and strength.

James Kay Jabari's 6'8" The rim is 10' That's a 40 inch vert That's not how vert is calculated. You forgot about his arms being above his head If you seriously think that Jabari is more athletic than Giannis, you're nuts.

You forgot about his arms being above his head If you seriously think that Jabari is more athletic than Giannis, you're nuts. There's 12 inches in a foot. Jabari's hit his head on the rim, so it doesn't matter how high his arms reach. 10' -> 6'8" = 12 + 12 + 12 + 4 inches. That's 40 inches. This thread makes me feel like I'm going insane or something.

Yes but that means I have a 44 inch vertical if I get rim and pull it down and pull myself up. The freeze frame on the video before you hit play clearly shows him pulling himself up and pulling the rim down. I understand that it happens almost simultaneously with his jump. But a 36 inch vert for a 20 year old professional basketball player isn't something that is outrageous. Jabari may have a decent vertical for an NBA player, but he is not more athletic than Giannis. You are going insane if you believe this is as true.
